Lynn Paltrow Speaker at U.Maine Farmington 11/14 Forum Series on Sexual & Reproductive Justice

The University of Maine Farmington will host a speaker series this fall semester on Sexual and Reproductive Justice. The forum series will tackle and start dialogue on the following issues: "In response to the complex issues behind today’s headlines on marriage equality, healthcare access and reproductive laws, the University of Maine at Farmington is holding a series of free and open to the public events on Sexual and Reproductive Justice. This series hopes to help define the principles of reproductive and sexual justice and to discuss how they can be achieved through education, care, activism and public policy."
NAPW Executive Director Lynn Paltrow will be a series speaker on Thursday, November 14, 2013 addressing “40 years After Roe v Wade: Reproductive Justice in the Age of Mass Incarceration,” at 7 p.m. in Thomas Auditorium, UMF Preble/Ricker Halls.
