NAPW Calls on U.S. Immigration Authorities to Reverse new U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Pregnancy Directive

April 13, 2018

People held in immigration jails in the U.S. - including those who are pregnant - receive dangerous and substandard health care. The current Administration has decided through a policy change to lock up even more pregnant women in immigration (ICE) jails. Along with 275 other organizations, NAPW sent this letter to U.S. Immigration authorities calling on them to reverse this dangerous practice.
