A New Direction for Drug Policy

NAPW will be presenting at New Directions DC: A Public Health and Safety Approach to Drug Policy, June 17th 2010. Please join us for this free event cosponsored by the Drug Policy Alliance, the National Association of Social Workers, the National Black Police Association, and Physicians for Human Rights.

This will be the first-ever full day conference on drug policy reform on Capitol Hill. The event will bring together a host of disciplines—public health, law enforcement, stakeholders, advocates, and treatment providers—to discuss what it really means to get serious about treating drug use as a health issue instead of a criminal justice issue.
